Where to Buy an Original Fumo

Fumoshare logo fumoshare

The best and most suitable place to buy an original Fumo is definitely AmiAmi.com.
From there you can either buy them directly or, in 90% of cases, pre-order them. The pre-order listing shows a specific date indicating when pre-orders close and the estimated shipping month.

But how does payment work?
Once orders are ready to ship — for example, if the pre-order was placed in August 2026, payment will be due in November 2026 — the order will show as ready but not yet packed and shipped, since it's still awaiting payment.

Fumo available for purchase are always on rotation. You can find out sale dates through the official Gift website (https://www.gift-gift.jp/) or on the X (Twitter) profile of AmiAmi or Gift, to get a sneak peek of upcoming Fumo that haven't been announced yet.

We have a variety of Fumo sizes and types available: at the moment we've just passed 210+ Fumo, a number that will surely keep growing, not to mention the different sizes, such as: Ichinana (17 cm), Regular (20 cm), Mannaka (40 cm), Deka (70 cm), and Toy Strap (5–10 cm).

Size also affects how much detail a Fumo has: the Ichinana is smaller and has fewer details. The Regular, the standard size, shows all the details in full, while on the Ichinana many of these are reduced. As for the Mannaka and the Deka, on the other hand, the Fumo fully retain their details while becoming bigger and fluffier.

Alternatives to AmiAmi.com

An alternative for buying a Fumo is eBay.
We strongly advise against buying on this site, since prices are incredibly inflated: the standard price of a Fumo is around €35 (6,600 JPY).
On eBay, standard Fumo prices can range between €100 and €200, when you could find the same item at the official store for a third of that price — not to mention shipping and customs costs not included.

For rare and hard-to-find Fumo it can make sense to spend that much, but it still isn't fair to hand that money to a scalper.

Another tip for buying Fumo is to try searching on local sites — European, American, or Asian.
(I managed to find some Fumo I really wanted at close to the standard price — you can too, it doesn't hurt to try!)

We also encourage you to keep an eye on the next announced FumoFumo sales round, so you can avoid spending excessive amounts: Gift tends to announce in advance which Fumo will be up for sale in the next cycle.
